We have had a fun and busy week with Book Tasting, Flashlight Reading (this the children absolutely loved!), and Olympic stations (Torch Relay, curling and bobsled in the gym). I had hoped to upload some pictures but currently it is not working so please discuss these different events with your child.
We had 5 more Great Canadians, Avin, Landon R., Maahi, Evan and Hunter! Thank you so much for your support with this project! The students are doing a great job presenting their posters.

*Wed., Feb. 16 Dress Like An Athlete (wear a jersey or team shirt) This is another Club RED event. Hopefully your child has their CLUB RED calendar up in a visible place like the fridge and has been reading everyday! The back of the calendar has an. important letter explaining this program. Div. 11 is trying to READ FOR GOLD!
*Tuesday, Mar. 1st - 100 Day! This year students are encouraged to wear their 100 collection! Be creative, anything is possible. For example, put 100 stickers on a hat, make a necklace with 100 beads or cheerios, write 100 math equations on a shirt, the options are endless!
*You should have received a portal notice about Memory Books and Joyful Learning, please pay the $15.00 as soon as possible. Thanks!
*We are working on a research project in the library and will need our headphones for this. If you haven't already done so please send in a set for your child. Thanks!
