The students have done some awesome art for our ocean unit as you can see from our bulletin...
This week's science experiments included colourful storm, gummy bear investigating, what sinks and what floats, and oobleck.
Important Updates and Information:
*Analogue clocks came home today, please practise with your child. We have been learning both digital and analogue, plus the different ways to tell time eg.) 8:45, 45 minutes past 8, or 15 minutes to 9, or quarter to 9 (the half past and quarter after is more challenging so initially please focus on the first two ways)
*Hot Lunch tomorrow for those children that have ordered.
*Fun Day is Friday, June17th. Thank you to our amazing PAC who has organized and under this event. Hopefully it will be a nice day! We will be outside the majority of the day (rain or shine) so please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather. Colours for Fun Day below: students should wear their colour (whether it is a shirt, pants, sunglasses, hat (whatever be creative!)
Red: Akua, Janine, Cooper, Koston, Sam, Hunter, Gurnoor
Blue: Kayden, Kenzie, Seth, Emily, Landon R., Vivian
Green: Callum, Matthew, Landon N., Ellery, Avin, Manhi, Evan
*Please be checking your homes for classroom books. I usually always get a couple of piles of books that have gone missing or behind beds etc. Thanks for taking the time to look.
*Our final class celebration will be Wednesday, June 22nd (our last full day of school) Thanks to the following for providing our pre-packaged snacks: Sam - chips, Landon R. - juice boxes, Hunter - treats, Vivian - Rice Krispies, Bear Paws or packaged cookies, Seth - fruit snacks or gummies
*Thank you to Cooper's Mom for volunteering to clean a couple of our bins. If anyone else could volunteer to take home a couple that would be really appreciated.
